Board Member – Nick Bockler – USA
Nick Bockler enlisted into the United States Army August of 1998 with the primary MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) of 72F, refueled. Bockler spent his time as unit armor while stationed at Ft Lewis, Washington from 1999-2001. He transferred from active duty in 2001 to National Guard, F Company 106th Aviation (Chinook unit) in Peoria IL. Bockler deployed in February 2003 with this unit to Iraq where he was stationed at Camp Dogwood and Ballad airbase until July 2004. While there he was assigned to run a FARP (Forward Arming and Refueling Point) and operated as a door gunner on the CH47 Chinook. Upon completion of his deployment Bockler transferred guard units to Salisbury North Carolina and officially got out of the US Army on Dec 2007. In 2010 he graduated from Basic Law Enforcement Training in North Carolina and is now a Police Officer for the Town of Davidson North Carolina. Bockler also serves as a SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) operator on the North Mecklenburg Regional SWAT team.
