SSI Military Programs

Scuba Schools International is honored to support Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans, and our respected Training Centers through the opportunities offered by the GI Bill® certification/license reimbursement and the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge program.

How Does it Work?

First: As the veteran make sure to check your current GI Bill status at https://www.va.gov/education/eligibility/ to make sure you have remaining allotment left.

Second: Sign up for a free account on https://www.divessi.com and affiliate with the Training Center of your choice to work with.

Third: Complete the training/certification process with the Scuba Schools International Training Center.  Get a copy of your certification received as well as a copy of the invoice you paid for the certification.

Approved certifications and reimbursement amounts can be verified here: https://inquiry.vba.va.gov/weamspub/buildSearchCountryLCCriteria.do (search for SSI course names under Certifications)

Fourth: Complete the attached form VBA-22-0803 with the information from the invoice and certification.  Mail to the corresponding VA facility mentioned at the bottom of the form for your area.
